A 2K’s Omelette of some variety
Location: 3rd Ave So. just E of Meadow Gold
Over the years this has been sort of the go-to place when downtown early on a week day and looking for a breakfast bite. The building is what can only be described as unassuming on the outside in a working neighborhood, and it’s small and plain and cozy on the inside. But the breakfasts are always good and plentiful, and the atmosphere friendly with lots of regulars. The coffee is above average and the cup kept full, and the hash browns are tops. The highlight of the place, however, is our hostess Karla’s attentive service and trademark “Aww right!”.
This place is also known for its giant hamburger if you are looking for lunch, but in my experience it is just too much hamburger.
